Jonathan Shotts
PBC Elders are excited to introduce Jonathan Shotts as our full-time Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Worship at Plano Bible Chapel. He will begin serving officially on July 14, 2025.
Jonathan comes with more than a decade of experience in worship leadership, discipleship, and pastoral ministry. He has served over the last 7 years as Director of Spiritual Life at Heritage Christian Academy in Rockwall, where he has built a school-wide framework for spiritual formation, developed curriculum, led worship, and trained teachers and students alike in biblical worldview and discipleship.
Previously, Jonathan served for many years at Lake Ridge Bible Church in Mesquite, TX in roles spanning junior high, young adults, and worship ministries. His ministry philosophy is rooted in spiritual formation, Christ-centered worship, and equipping others to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jonathan and his wife, Lauren, are the proud parents of three young children—Eliza (6), Lucy (4), and Micah (1). Please join us in welcoming Jonathan and his family to the Plano Bible Chapel community. We are excited to see how God will use his gifts to deepen our discipleship and enrich our worship together.
