Prayer Requests

First, the process of naming my successor in the MissioNexus Advisory position is settled! After several months of written and Zoom conversations, her attendance in-person at the spring staff meeting last month sealed the deal. I am so excited about what she will bring to that role for the future! The official announcement will go out May 15 so I'll have more to say next month about how that will all unfold through the end of this year.
Second, my presentation to and interaction with the Mission Agency VPs wasn't as robust as I usually like, but overall I think it was meaningful. Every group is so different and I'm trusting that they all took away what they needed! I had a number of good followup conversations, and a few hard, even strange, ones (doesn't mean they weren't good). Lord have your way!
Third, the preaching cohort finished up their practices and coaching and are launched into their various settings.  We will offer an online version this Fall for those who are overseas and unable to come in-person this year.
And for May the main prayer request is for our 9th annual new cohort of women coming for an in-person Women's Development week May 15-22. The week before is all about final prep for their arrival and the week after about followup from the week! This week is a highlight each year so I'm looking forward to knowing this new group of women we will begin with next week! Thank you for praying that God will speak to whatever it is they need most in coming, to establish them in their calling and gifting, and to bless their mission teams to strengthen the good work that is being done. I'll report back next month!
